Terms and Conditions for MicroBooks POS Cloud Software

1. Acceptance of Agreement
By accessing, subscribing to, or using the MicroBooks POS Cloud Software (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
2. Cloud-Based Subscription Model
MicroBooks POS is offered as a cloud-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS). This means you access the system through the internet, and your subscription entitles you to use the software during the period of your active subscription. No physical software installation or setup fee is required.
3. Subscription Fees & Billing

Monthly/Annual Subscription Plans: Billed in advance as per your selected package.

Payment Methods: Credit card, bank transfer, or any method listed on microbookssolutions.com.

Non-Payment: Accounts past due by more than 7 days may be suspended until payment is made.

Cancellation: Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time, but no refunds are issued for the remaining term.

You own your business data stored in the system.

MicroBooks performs automatic cloud backups.

Upon cancellation, data will remain available for 30 days for download/export before deletion.

Standard support is available via phone, WhatsApp, or email during business hours.

Priority support, in-person visits, and training are available at an additional fee.
8. User Obligations
You agree to:

Provide accurate business information.

Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.

Use the software lawfully and only for legitimate business operations.
9. Prohibited Activities
You may not:

Share your account with unauthorized users.

Attempt to reverse-engineer, clone, or resell the platform.

Use the system to distribute spam, malware, or illegal content.
10. Limitation of Liability
MicroBooks is not liable for:

Data loss caused by user error, third-party service failure, or force majeure.

Business interruptions due to internet outages or misuse of the platform.
Our maximum liability is limited to the value of one active subscription period.
11. Termination & Suspension

MicroBooks may suspend or terminate access due to:

You may export your data before cancellation. After 30 days, it will be deleted.
12. Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of Jamaica. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Kingston, Jamaica.
13. Modifications
MicroBooks may update these terms as needed. Users will be notified via email or in-app notifications before changes take effect.
